Thomas Ray Goff, age 59, loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away February 25, 1991 at his home after a lingering illness.
He was born August 13, 1931 in Murray, Utah, to Thomas Harold and Ella Grace Morgan Goff. Ray married Louise Walker, in Elko, Nevada, September 1968. Ray was an Elder in the LDS Church. Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the Air Force. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1955 with a Bachelor Degree in Business and worked at Graybar Electric from 1955 to 1987 as sales manager. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and enjoyed trading on the stock market. He played racketball and golf, and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. The company of his children and grandchildren was very special to him.Survived by Louise Goff, Tray Goff, Frank Goff and Jani Maestas, all of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Michael Maestas, Lindsey and Logan Goff; sister, Mrs. Wayne (Glenna) McDonald, Nephi; nieces, Melanie, Michelle and Melissa McDonald, Nephi. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 1991, 12 Noon, Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens, Salt Lake City.
