Marvel Farrell Andersen, age 83, passed away February 24, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 2, 1908 in Vineyard, Utah to James X. and Petrea Thyrring Andersen. Served an LDS mission to England from 1929-30. Served in the Army Air Force in World War II as a Sgt. in the 439th Bomber Squadron. Married Ruth Woodward on June 23, 1944. Retired as a field representative for Federal National Mortgage Association in 1969. He then worked for Western Mortgage and Loan until 1977. He was a wonderful dedicated and giving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed greatly.Survived by his wife, Ruth W. Andersen; son, Marvel Craig Andersen, Henderson, Nevada; two daughters, Sue L. Andersen; Mrs. William (Kim A. Wunderlich), both of Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m., February 27, 1991 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
