Vanna White's autobiography is a whitewash, says her co-writer. Cart Andrews, who helped the "Wheel of Fortune" letter-tuner write "Vanna Speaks," says he wrote a 225-page manuscript but White excised "all the good parts."
For example, "Her mother was abused by her real-life father with knives and things," Andrews said in an interview of "Geraldo" that will air Wednesday. "Then she (Vanna) said, `Oh, I can't possibly say this because I don't want anyone to know that, and I don't want anyone to know what I did here or what I did there.' "
