Dearest wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Pearl (Jody) C. W. Cook, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, February 24, 1991.
She was born on November 24, 1912, in Ferron, Utah to Leslie and Maria Huntsman Cox. Married Frank Warthin in 1938; deceased. Married Harold A. Cook, May 18, 1971. "Jody" was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She loved bringing smiles to faces of all ages and her delightful spirit will always be remembered and treasured by her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and loved forever.She is survived by her beloved husband, Harold, Salt Lake City; a daughter and granddaughter, Jane Warthin Stallings and Janine Stallings, both, Clarkston, Wash.; step-children, Martell J Cook, Toms River, N.J., and Evelyn C. W. Baer, Sacramento, Calif; eight step-grandchildren; eleven step-great grandchildren; and a step-great-great grandchild; a brother, Paul Cox, Pocatello, ID; and two sisters, Velma Peterson, Ferron, UT and Rose Thygerson, Orem, UT.
Funeral services will be, Wednesday, February 27th, 11 am, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment on Thursday at 1 pm in the Ferron City Cemetery, Ferron, UT.
