The Sigma Xi society will recognize two Brigham Young University faculty members Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Bean Museum Auditorium.

John Clark, assistant professor of anthropology, and Patricia C. Isaacs, associate professor of nursing, will receive small honorariums and will present lectures about research in their respective fields.Clark will discuss "Antecedents of Olmec Civilization in Mexico" at 7 p.m., and Isaacs will speak on the "Growth Parameters and Blood Values in Arabic Children from High, Medium and Low Socioeconomic Levels" at 7:30 p.m. A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. for all guests. The public is invited.

"The purpose of Sigma Xi is to further advance scientific research through the recognition of those performing good work," said Richard Woodbury, professor of electrical engineering and president-elect of the Sigma Xi Society.
