"You and Your Taxes" is a special program presented by Salt Lake County Extension Services at South Salt Lake Library, 220 E. Morris Ave. (2430 South), Monday, March 4, 7-8:30 p.m.
Information on new changes in the 1990 tax laws for state and federal taxes and hints on filing returns will be included.Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is providing help for the elderly and disadvantaged using Internal Revenue Service-trained volunteers. Additional assistance for the elderly and disadvantaged is being provided by the American Association of Retired Persons.
Those desiring help should bring last year's federal and state tax returns, receipts and other pertinent documents.
