The Rolling Stones have come up with an anti-war song. Mick Jagger says he wrote the lyrics to "High Wire" in December and it was recorded in January a few days before the fighting started in the Persian Gulf.
"We walk the high wire putting the world on deadline, hoping we don't taste the shellfire of hot guns and cold, cold nights," go the lyrics."I don't want to take advantage of this in terms of publicity . . . but I think it's good to be able to make a comment on something everyone is talking about," Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine.
