LaLita Clark Russon, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away February 22, 1991 at the age of 85, in the American Fork Hospital.
She was born in Lehi, Utah on June 26, 1905 to Thomas Henry and Margaret Ann Fox Clark. She married Rulon L. Russon November 18, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away February 20, 1979. She received her education in the Lehi schools. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served many years as a visiting teacher and held many teaching positions including chorister and organist. She loved music and played many instruments. She donated time each week playing the piano for the patients at Larsen's Rest Home in Lehi. She loved doing handwork and had made many beautiful handkerchiefs, quilts, afghans and pillowcases. She was also a talented artist doing both pictures and China painting. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.She is survived by: one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Leo (Donna) Woffinden of Pleasant Grove; R. VeNile and Myra of Northridge, Calif.; Glade C. and Rhonda of Lehi; Kent L. and Marcia of Bountiful; 14 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 1991, at 11 a.m., in the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Mortuary, SLC.
