Sheriff's detectives are investigating a report of a possible abduction and rape of a Kearns High School student.

The 16-year-old girl reported she was walking home alone at 9:30 p.m. after a school dance Wednesday night.According to the girl, two males forced her into a car and drove to Butterfield Canyon where she was raped by one of the men. They kept her with them until about 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The suspects returned her to Kearns High after the ordeal.

The victim said the two men in their early 20s had tried to pick her up two weeks ago but she refused to get in the car with them. Investigators say they have no suspects at this time.
