Sgt. Jeffrey Alan Rollins, 23, died on February 14, 1991, in Saudi Arabia.

Born September 6, 1967, in Milford, Utah to Robert A. and Ileene C. Rollins, formerly of West Bountiful, now of Monroe, Utah. Married Sheila Brown, November 6, 1988. Started grade school in Providence, Utah; attended West Bountiful Elementary, Bountiful Junior High, and graduated from Viewmont High School, Class of 1985.He was an avid sports fan, loved to hunt and fish with his Dad. Joined the U.S. Army July 24, 1985, and was with the 82nd Airborne Division of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He had been accepted to train with the Army's elite paratroop jumping team, "The Golden Knights". He was a supply seargeant in Saudi Arabia. He served 151 days in the Persian Gulf. Was a member of the LDS Church. He worked for West Bountiful City during the summers and for the Utah Fish and Game at the Heber City Fish Hatchery.

Survivors include: Wife, Sheila, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; four children, Cedric, 6, Robert 11 months, Ceria, 2 1/2, and Bianca, 2 1/2, all of North Carolina; parents, Robert A. and Ileene C. Rollins, Monroe; sisters, Marie Chase and Julie Tucker, both of Bountiful; one nephew and one niece; beloved grandmother, Maud L. Crane, Milford. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dan and Emma Rollins, and Lovell F. Crane.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 22, 1 p.m. at West Bountiful 8th Ward Chapel, 377b North 800 West. Friends may call Thursday, 7-9 p.m., at Linquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 No. 400 East, and 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services at the church on Friday. Graveside services will be held in Milford, Utah on Saturday, at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment, Milford City Cemetery.

Jeffrey was a proud American, willing to serve his country.
