William "Bill" Charles Green, age 92, passed away February 19, 1991 at Care West in Bountiful, Utah of causes incident to age.

He was born in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales October 20, 1892; the son of Theophilus James and Annie Amanda Scrivens Green. He immigrated to the United States at the age of one year, and grew up in Almo, Cassia County, Idaho, where he worked on many ranches in the area. He moved to Salt Lake City in 1921 and married Mary Olga Layton in the Salt Lake LDS Temple October 31, 1923. She passed away June 30, 1971. He married Irma Dale in 1972; later divorced. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, a home teacher, worked on Ward building committees, and in his early years worked with the Boy Scout Program. He loved to go camping, fishing and hunting and traveled extensively with his wife and family.He worked as a cement contractor for Wasatch Oil Co.; and as a loading dock worker for Phillips Petroleum Co. in Woods Cross. He retired November 1, 1963 from Phillips.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters; Maxine (Tommy) McMallum, Layton; Theo J. (Jean) Green, Bountiful; Milton C. (Joyce) Green, Centerville; Patricia (LeGrande) Backley, Woods Cross; one brother, Weldon G. (Florence) Green, Burley, Idaho; 18 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and two step-great great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his first wife, two sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 22, 1991 at 12 noon at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, where friends may call Friday 10:30-11:45. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
