Irma Adell Gardner Evans, 89, of Santaquin, Utah, died at her home February, 18, 1991.

She was born January 4, 1902, in West Jordan, Utah to George Delos and Eugena L. Huffaker Gardner. She married Edmund Roger Evans, April 24, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 21, 1934. She was mother and father for over 57 years.She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many of the organizations. All of her children have been through the LDS Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers for 68 years. She was an election judge from the term of President Herbert Hoover through President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Survivors: Two sons and four daughters, Mrs. Charles (IrmaDell) DeGraffenried, Santaquin; Mrs. Owen (Betty) Pendleton, Springville; Mrs. Wayne (Ruth) Gould, Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Jean Evans, Boise, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. George and Paula Evans, and Mrs. Irvin (Jean) Bingham, both of El Dorado Hill, California; 29 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Beverly, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 22, 1991, at 11 a.m., at the Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East, Santaquin, with Bishop Craig D. Evans officiating. Friends may call both Thursday evening, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and Friday, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin. Interment will be in the Wight's Fort Cemetery, 9000 So. 3200 West, West Jordan, Utah.
