Elsie Robinson Winslow, age 75, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away February 18, 1991, at a local care center of complications incident to cancer.

She was born in Salt Lake City on October 8, 1915 to William Henry and Annie Lomas Robinson. Married Leslie B. Winslow, Feburary 19, 1935 in Farmington, Utah; later divorced. Educated in Salt Lake City schools, she also attended LDS Business College. Retired from St. Marks Hospital after more than 20 years of service. She had lived in Holladay since 1984 and greatly enjoyed her surroundings while nurturing her plants and garden in the company of her cats. Elsie loved the Utah Symphony and with her son, Gordon, were patrons of the arts in Salt Lake Valley. Gordon preceded her in death in 1988.Survived by four sons: Keith (Connie) Kenai, Alaska; Blaine (Geraldine), Kearns; Ross, Missoula, Montana; Vern (Susan), West Valley; grandchildren, Danette, Brian, Shelly, Russell, David, Greg, Elaine, Eric; great grandchildren, Jessica, Tyson, Derrick; sisters, Annie Mecham, Bountiful; Hilda (Walt) Falkner, Gresham, Oregon; brother, William (Thelma), Pocatello, Idaho.

The family wishes to thank all of Elsie's loving friends and neighbors for their support during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to the Utah Symphony or the Humane Society of Utah.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 Noon, February 22, 1991 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
