Ray Joe Ulibarri, age 53, our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, returned to his Heavenly Father, February 17, 1991 in a local hospital.
He was born April 25, 1937 in Sevoia, New Mexico to Joe Lee and Anita Archuletta Ulibarri. He married Ann Parry in Salt Lake City, Utah, March 9, 1959. Ray was employed in his younger years as a disc jockey and hosted the Utah Bandstand television show. He also emceed many record hops throughout the state. He was an active member of the Utah Jaycees as well as participating in other social and political activities and was a member of the LDS Church. Ray was an outgoing individual who brought joy and happiness to his many friends and family. "We love you and will miss you, Dad."Survivors wife, Ann; children, Debi, Arizona; Kathy, West Jordan; Michael and Angie, Sandy; David and Connie, Midvale; two grandchildren, Kenneth and Dayn; father, Lee; brother, Felix; sisters, Sophie, Julia and Barbara. Preceded in death by his mother; and brother, Gilbert.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 1991, 1 p.m. in the Midvale 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 75 Olympus Street. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Herriman Cemetery.
