Our beloved Edna Burningham Brown Williams, age 79, passed away peacefully February 16, 1991, in Bountiful.

Edna was born August 5, 1911, in West Point, Utah, the daughter of Arthur John and Sarah Ann Thurgood Burningham. She married Harvey Larane Brown on July 2, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1959. She married Milton Earl Williams on November 16, 1961 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1981. Edna spent all but the last few years of her life in West Point. She was known by all for her beautiful handiwork and cooking skills. Edna loved children and befriended all that she came in contact with. She has numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and neighbors whom she loved dearly and took under her wing as though they were all her own. Edna was an active member of the LDS Church and spent many years working with and teaching the youth. All of Edna's family and friends will miss her dearly.Survived by Harvey's two children, Betty Jean Martin and Leon Jay Brown, both of Roy, Utah and their six children and 17 grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Ralph Burningham, West Point, Melvin Burningham, Ogden, Golda Barlow, Bountiful. Preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 21st, 11 a.m., at the West Point LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 550 North 2300 West, West Point, Utah, with Bishop Doyle G. Olsen officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at the West Point LDS 4th Ward Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the West Point Chapel on Thursday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel of Salt Lake City.
