Lucile Fidkin Ashton Lloyd, age 92, passed away in her home February 15, 1991.

She was born February 20, 1899 in Salt Lake City, to George Savage Ashton and Leah Fidkin Ashton. She married Henry Harries Lloyd, June 18, 1924, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, giving years of faithful service in the Relief Society and the Ward Choir. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved missionary work, having 47 in her family that served full time missions. Her most precious possessions were her deep and abiding love for her husband Harries, who preceded her in death, for her family and the love shared between all.She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Cloyd and Joan Hofheins, serving in the Phillipines Manila Mission; Harries and Audrey Lloyd, Newbury Park, California; Earl and Neoma Lloyd, Wayne and Geniel Lloyd, Brent and Carolee Dayton, all of Salt Lake City; Ben and Joan Lloyd, Brigham City; Jon and Susan Leathan, Centerville; 41 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, William Ashton, Reed Ashton and Mrs Lincoln (Emma) Hanks; two brothers, Melvin Ashton and George Ashton, and two sisters, Mrs George (Leah) Lloyd and Aliene Ashton, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20th, 12 Noon, in the Capitol Hill Second Ward Chapel, 413 West Capital Street, where friends may call from 10-11:30 A.M. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors Russon Brothers Mortuary.
