More than $1 million worth of diamonds, opals and emeralds will be displayed at the Utah State Fairgrounds during the 1991 Annual Gold and Treasure Show. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 9 and 10.

The show also highlights an array of articles that glitter and glow, including hand-crafted gold nugget jewelry. Prospecting and mining equipment, all-terrain vehicles, solar-powered gadgets, metal detectors and treasure-hunting devices will also be featured.The show, sponsored by the Gold Prospectors Association of America, is geared toward helping amateurs and professionals locate and recover gold. Several speakers will present seminars and lectures during the event.
