Two Wayne County men and a Springville man have been charged with livestock theft in an incident in which one sheep was killed and another wounded on Boulder Mountain.

Released on bonds of $2,000 each pending setting of an arraignment date are Karnell Durfey, 57, and Larry Williams, 39, both Bicknell, and Jerry Menthena, 52, Springville.Deputy Sheriff Leon Brinkerhoff said a 1978 truck and a rifle were confiscated when the three were arrested. He was assisted in the arrest by Leon Bogadal, conservation officer with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.

The sheep were in a herd owned by Kennard Chappell of Lyman, Wayne County.
