Martial arts movie star Steven Seagal likes to cultivate his mystique. When an interviewer from GQ magazine asked if it was true that he had worked for the CIA, Seagal said, "I will not even admit I worked for the government, but I did things I was very, very sorry for."
He later goes on to say that "some of the highest people in the world stay in close contact with me, one of the highest ranking generals in the world visits my set and not because I'm a movie star."GQ says the general is actually a retired general, Robert Kingston, a special warfare expert and former commander in chief of the U.S. Central Command.
Seagal's wife, actress Kelly LeBrock, no longer doubts him, however. "When I met Steven, I thought he was the biggest liar I ever met in my life," she said. "As you get to know him, you realize there is never a lie from his mouth. He's the most honorable man I've ever met - not that I met that many."
