The 20th-ranked University of Utah women's tennis team knocked off 17th-ranked South Carolina Thursday 6-3, winning three singles and three doubles matches. Ute winners included Allison Bradford at No. 1 singles. She defeated 35th-ranked Natalie Rodriguez 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.

Also, Utah's Suzie Costa defeated Monica Wises 6-1, 6-1, and No. 6 singles Stephanie Ball beat Natalie Acacio 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. In doubles. Bradford and Ruth Anne Stevens beat Rodriguez and Mandy Nall 6-4, 6-4; Charla Barone and Costa beat Michelle Duda and Robin Deitch 7-6, 6-4; and Julie Kempin and Becky Huereque defeated Wise and Yette Castilljo 7-5, 6-2.
