Joe Garagiola, one of baseball's best story-tellers for nearly 40 years, will enter the Hall of Fame this summer as recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasting.

Garagiola was a fixture on NBC-TV's "Game of the Week" telecasts through the 1960s. He also worked on NBC's "Today" show from 1962-73 and rejoined the show last year.
