Popular local rock groups Slinky Fink, Liquid Forest, Jonesin and Stretch Armstrong will headline a benefit concert at Provo's Center Stage dance studio, 264 N. 100 West, Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4 per person.

The benefit is being held on behalf of the California-based Children of the Night Foundation. The foundation helps teen runaways and teens involved in prostitution get off the streets and, where possible, back home."Besides raising monies for the foundation," promoter Randy Jernigan said, "we want to raise the consciousness of the community. There's a growing problem in our own society with teen runaways and prostitution."

The concert will also feature a video message from such rock notables as Richard Marx and Kip Winger and the organization's founder, Lois Lee.
