Dorothy Jean Smith Bolton, age 60, passed away February 15, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born August 30, 1930 in Dingle, Idaho, the daughter of Delbert Edwin and Nelda Mary Dayton Smith. Married Earl Wallentine, April 3, 1950. He preceded her in death March 9, 1967. She later married Paul Bolton, June 21, 1968; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 19, 1975. Active member of the LDS Church. Worked for Mountain Bell for 37 years, as manager of operator services, and retired in February of 1985. A very giving person, Dorothy enjoyed sharing her talents of oil painting, handiwork, and playing the piano. She had a great love for the out-of-doors, especially in Featherville, Idaho.Survived by husband; two step-daughters, Cheri Richie and Wendy Bolton; five grandchildren; Mother; two sisters, Mrs. Jay (Nada) Nelson and Sandra Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18th, 11 am, in the Valley View 11th Ward, 4032 South 2300 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday 6-8pm, and at the Ward on Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Montpelier, Idaho Cemetery.
