Kenneth Brown Parsons, age 75, died February 14, 1991 in a Price hospital.
He was born July 26, 1915 in Lynville, Tennessee; son of Kelly Parsons and Fannie Belle Hindman. He married Kyoko Moride, October 2, 1951 in Kobe, Japan. Resident of Carbon County since 1967. Served in the U.S. Army for 23 years. Worked in coal mines in Colorado and Utah prior to and after military service. Member of Price Post American Legion. Miner's Post VFW 2376.Survived by his wife Kyoko, Price; two sons and two daughters and spouses, Douglas and Susan Parsons, Sunnyside, Utah; Anthony M. and Katsumi Parsons, Helper, Utah; Patty and Allen Hannert; Judy and Kim Spigarelli, both of Price, Utah; 10 grandchildren; also survived by two sisters and one brother, Ruby Berardi, Reno, Nevada; Geneva Burt, Walden, Colorado; Harold Parsons, Carlsbad, California; also survived by a step-brother and step-sister, Hunter Hight, American Fork, Utah; Beulah Pipher, Beaver, Utah. Preceded in death by a grandson, William B. Hannert and brother Douglas Parsons.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 19th at 1:30 p.m. in the Price City Cemetery; the family will be at Mitchell Chapel, Monday evening 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to graveside services with military honors.
