Dorothy Farr Waddell passed away January 31, 1991 in El Paso, Texas.
Born in Salt Lake City to Reuben and Eleanora Farr. Married Lt. Col. A. Dean Waddell September, 1942 in Fort Benning Georgia. She graduated from the U. of U in the Social Welfare Field. She performed supervisory duties at the Salt Lake County Family Services Agency. She later served with the Salt Lake Children's Society and the Home Service Division of the Red Cross. Following a transfer to El Paso, Texas, she was employed as a substitute teacher. Volunteered many hours as a Gray Lady with the Red Cross at Beaumont Army Hospital. Member Lower Valley Womens Group.She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. A. D. Waddell; daughter, Joyce Lane, Pico Rivera, Calif.; sister, Virginia (Mrs. Clark Wilson), a niece Virginia Bath, both of Salt Lake City; and nephew, Raymond Clark Wilson, Houston, Tx.
Funeral services were held February 4, in El Paso, Texas. Burial took place in the Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
