Utah elementary schools are eligible for a $1,000 prize in a statewide Arbor Day celebration. Three regional winners each will get a $1,000 cash prize, then compete for another grand prize.

Anderson Lumber Co. is the sponsor of the cash prizes. The Utah Association of Nurserymen and Landscape Contractors will provide savings bonds for state finalists and grand prize winners."Trees for Tomorrow - Plant Utah's Pride" is the theme for the statewide Arbor Day celebration, which will be held on April 26.
