Wheeler Historic Farm will present the First Annual Farm Show on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, at 6351 S. 900 East. Farm equipment will be displayed and implements will be demonstrated in and about the newly-constructed 10,000 square foot Activity Barn. The show will run from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

While the show's main emphasis will be on farming, it promises to appeal to a wide audience with a vast array of commercial and public exhibitors on hand. Commercial exhibits will feature the latest developments in agricultural equipment and applied techniques. Home agriculture and gardening interests will also be presented with area nurseries offering information on the backyard garden as well as other landscaping data.Farm visitors will be treated to free horse-drawn wagon rides, historic skills demonstrations, visits to the ice house museum store and an opportunity to observe the farmer as he goes about the evening chores of milking the cows and gathering the eggs.
