Larry S. Ross has been appointed to the eight-member Utah Board of Water Resources by Gov. Norm Bangerter.
Ross, a resident of Myton, Duchesne County, will represent Duchesne, Uintah and Daggett counties. He fills the unexpired term of Irvin A. Haws who recently resigned.Ross owns and operates a retail agricultural business in Myton. He served on the Duchesne County Commission from 1986 to 1990. He has farmed in the Pleasant Valley area for 23 years, worked for the Uintah Basin Irrigation Co. and was a member of the Uintah Basin Telephone Association Board for 12 years. Ross was also instrumental in organizing the Duchesne County Water Resources Board and Economic Development Board.
