Two Box Elder County residents were honored Friday by the Utah Association of Fairs & Shows during a meeting at the State Fairgrounds.

Presented awards were Sue Jensen, Tremonton, who has been affiliated with the Box Elder County Fair and Rodeo for 25 years, and Harry Hinck Brigham City, who is known for his volunteer efforts in helping youths develop horsemanship skills. Hinck was director of Box Elder County horse show, a member of the Box Elder County Sheriff's Posse and president of the Bear River Valley Cutter Racing Association.Rell Argyle, vice president of the association, said Jensen has been a Box Elder Fair Board secretary, a 4-H assistant and fashion show chairman at the county fair and a crops department assistant.
