A 33-year-old man was seriously wounded Sunday during an apparent fight in which he was stabbed in the neck.

Police found Santiago Muniz, 33, address unknown, inside a home at 1798 W. New York Drive (1405 North) after neighbors called to report a fight in progress about 5:50 p.m.Muniz had been stabbed once in the side of the neck. He was taken to LDS Hospital, where he was in serious and stable condition Monday in the hospital's intensive care unit, said spokesman Craig Rasmussen.

Salt Lake Police Lt. Ken Thirsk said the the victim was uncooperative with police. No arrests were made because Muniz denied that he had been stabbed or had even been in a fight.
