"Mixing Oil and Wilderness in Arctic Alaska" will be the topic topic of Brigham Young University's February Earth Science Museum Lecture.

R. Paul Nixon of the geology department will discuss his research with the Mobil Oil Company Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. in the Earth Science Museum, 1638 N. Canyon Road, Provo.Nixon spent from 1985 to 1990 in arctic Alaska examining the region's oil-producing potential. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is on government land and its use is restricted.
