Edwin Cozzens, assistant administrative vice president of physical facilities at Brigham Young University, will serve as a judge for the American Consulting Engineers Council's Engineering Excellence Awards Competition in March.

The 24-member panel will convene March 14-15 at the National Museum in Washington, D.C., to judge projects.Cozzens, a BYU employee since 1971, is responsible for the physical plant, business support, planning and construction and space utilization departments.

The Engineering Excellence Awards Competition recognizes worldwide engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of merit and ingenuity and provide a major contribution to technical, economic and social advancement. The council represents more than 5,000 private-practice consulting engineering firms.
