Freshman Tony Moore scored 26 points Sunday to help lead Southwestern Louisiana to a 94-82 victory over Southern Utah in the Cajuns' home finale.

The Cajuns (19-8) honored four seniors prior to the final home game, but it was a trio of underclassmen that joined senior Kevin Brooks in double figures. In addition to Moore's 11 of 14 shooting from the field, Brooks added 19, Cedric Mackyeon had 18 and Marcus Stokes had 15.Dana Achtzehn had 30 points and made 11 of 16 shots from the field to lead Southern Utah (13-11).

The Thunderbirds, sporting the nation's third-best record among independents, also got 18 points from Peter Johnson and 11 from DaVor Marcelic.

Trailing 15-4, the Cajuns rallied and finally took the lead with 4:29 left in the half on Moore's jumper that made it 34-33. USL never trailed again after two free throws by Byron Starks made it 40-39 with 1:44 left in the half, but Johnson's three-pointer at the horn tied it at 44-all at halftime.

Southwestern Louisiana scored the first four points of the second half and never trailed after that, using a 10-0 run in a three-minute period midway through the half to build a 73-58 advantage.
