Rob Karz, manager of the Park City office of Real Estate Mortgage Services Inc., was the company's top producing loan officer in 1990 by closing $14 million worth of loans.
Karz has five years experience in real estate and specializes in construction and conventional mortgage loans. Before his move to mortgage banking in 1985, he was a sales associate with Nelson Land Co. and Coldwell Banker.He received his mortgage training with Norwest Mortgage Inc. and First Fed American Bank and has been with REMS since October 1989.
Robin Hough, REMS president, also announced the company closed $23 million in loans in 1990, an 86 percent increase over the 1989 total of $12.4 million. The offices in Salt Lake City, Park City and Ogden combined to issue 235 loans with an average value of $98,000.
