Jog into spring John N. Nielson takes advantage of sunny, springlike weather and jogs through a tree-lined area near the 11th Avenue Park in Salt Lake City, where the temperature reached a high of 56 degrees Friday. With an absence of new snow and only about 0.19 inches of rain during the past week at the Salt Lake International Airport, many people have been out jogging and walking. There may be fewer people out running Saturday and Sunday when the weather is expected to be wetter and colder. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers developing late in the day and continuing through the night. Sunday also will be mostly cloudy and colder with occasional snow likely to develop late in the day. The forecast for Monday through Wednesday is for mostly cloudy conditions and scattered snow. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the low 30s to mid-40s and lows in the teens and 20s, National Weather Service forecasters said.
