Brigham Young University is among 108 colleges and universities from across the nation named to the 1991 Templeton Foundation's Honor Roll for Character Building Colleges.

The Honor Roll's annual listing calls attention to schools that go beyond academics to instill the development of character and moral values in their students. BYU's designation - the third in three years - came from a field of 814 colleges and universities in the United States nominated for the roll.Other institutions in the new listing are De Pauw University, University of Notre Dame, Duke University and Ohio Wesleyan University.

With 27,000 students, BYU has the largest enrollment of any school on the Honor Roll.
