Fanny Jean Clyde Montgomery, 82, died February 10, 1991 at a Heber City care center.
Our special mother and grandmother passed away peacefully, releasing her from a lingering illness. Born January 5, 1909, in Heber City to John Donald and Anabel Murdock Clyde. Married Walter Montgomery October 27, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 22, 1987. She was reared, educated and made her home in beautiful Heber Valley and contributed much to the community through her leadership in 4-H, politics and activity in the LDS Church. She was very talented and will be remembered for her beautiful soprano voice and creative sewing ability.She is survived by her six children, Richard W., Sacramento, California; Ann Baum, Bluff, Utah; Mary Wootton, Sandy; David L., Vernal; Jane Kinsel, Heber City; Jeane Kuhn, Boco Raton, Florida; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Evan Clyde, Toppenish, Washington; sister, Marion Buys, Phoenix, Arizona. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, sisters, Lora Leamaster and Merle Davis and brother, Ellis Clyde.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15th, 11 a.m., in the Heber 3rd-7th Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary, Thursday 7-9 p.m. and at the church Friday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Heber City Cemetery.
