So, you have a fax machine in your office and when you come in in the morning you've got a pile of unwanted faxes that came in over the night offering you all kinds of junk you don't want.

To the rescue comes the Legislature and Sen. Ronald Ockey, R-Salt Lake. Senators advanced a bill Tuesday that will allow businesses to place themselves on a state-operated restricted fax register. If you put yourself on the register, you can't get unsolicited faxes. There are some exceptions, but Ockey believes you won't find the huge pile of faxes each morning, "wasting your money and time."
