Keli'i Brown has joined The Walton Group, a public relations agency in Provo. He will serve as a public relations assistant, coordinating several projects, including writing and formating newsletters. Utah Valley Community College faculty member, Barbra Wardle, has been named "Art Educator of the Year" by the National Art Education Associates. Wardle has taught art at the college for the past 11 years. She is a resident of Provo. Jim Darrington has been selected as manager of the year for 1990 at Orem Community Hospital. He is supervisor of materials management of the hospital and has worked there since 1988. Glen Ricks has received a merit certificate for successfully completing a photography business marketing and management workshop sponsored by Photographers of America, held at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. This certificate is a step toward earning a Masters of Photogaphy and Photographic Craftsman degree granted by Professional Photographers of America. Barry Lloyd, Springville, has been named general manager of Valtek's Baton Rouge, La., operation. He will supervise Valtek's sales, manufacturing and service work in Louisiana. He will relocate to Baton Rouge later this year. Greg Crandall has been promoted to director of international operations at Valtek. He will be responsible for coordinating multinational sales projects and providing international market planning and forecasting. He will also be responsible for expanding the manufacturing capabilities of Valtek's affiliates.
