The culture, lifestyles and problems of Navajo people will be the topic of a Utah Museum of Natural History workshop Feb. 15 and 16 at the museum.

The workshop will meet Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is $27.50 through the museum education department, 581-4887.The instructor will be Rose Hulligan, a Salt Lake City resident who grew up on the Navajo reservation and is the daughter of a medicine man. She is a member of the Big Mountain Support Group, ELP Minority Task Force and the Parent Advisory Board for Indian Education in the Salt Lake City School District.

The class is also offered as a teacher workshop for recertification, or for University of Utah credit.
