Rose Rowell Little, age 94, of Holladay, died February 10, 1991.

She was born September 20, 1896, in Rhodes, England to John Collin and Elizbeth Barber Rowell. She married James Alma Little on June 26, 1918, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 10, 1977. She moved from England to Murray, Utah when she was nine years old. She lived in California and Clearfield, Utah prior to moving to Salt Lake City 14 years ago. She worked as a floral designer for many years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as president of the Relief Society, Primary, and had worked with the Young Women's Organization. She and her husband had also served as stake missionaries. She loved having a nice home and was an award-winnng gardener.She is survived by: A son, Gerald L. and his wife, Margaret Little, Holladay; 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, June K. Little, Salt Lake City; a sister, Edna R. Polzin, Laguna Hills, Calif.; a brother, Harold B. Rowell, West Jordan; besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Alma Mac Little, a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be Thursday February 14, 1991, at 12 noon, at the Holladay LDS Second Ward, 2065 East 4675 South. Friends may call at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m., and at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Elysian Burial Gardens.
