A Roosevelt businessman and a Duchesne County school teacher have been charged with rape and forcible sexual abuse in alleged assaults on two teenage girls, police say.

Court records show that Arlo McKee, 38, a real estate agent, has been charged with first-degree felony rape, second-degree forcible sexual abuse and supplying alcohol to a minor, a Class A misdemeanor.

Brian A. Clark, a band instructor at Roosevelt Junior High, has been charged with first-degree felony rape and two misdemeanor counts, supplying alcohol to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, records show.

Roosevelt Police Chief Cecil Gurr said the 15- and 17-year-old girls in question allege they were assaulted during a party at a Roosevelt residence during the early morning hours of April 3.

He said the girls said they had been baby-sitting for Clark on the night of April 2, and later had been invited by Clark to attend a party at the residence.

McKee was released on a $16,000 bond and Clark was being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond. Preliminary hearings for both have been scheduled for April 14.

The Duchesne County School District has suspended Clark with pay pending the outcome of charges against him.
