The public is invited to a full-scale "heart attack" Thursday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

The hospital is attacking heart disease at the sixth annual Heart Education Fair. Come and learn the signs, symptoms and causes of heart disease, as well as prevention methods and the treatments available today. The fair will be held in the Clark Auditorium at the south side of hospital.Screenings offered will include free blood pressure checks, free body-fat measurement, free heart rhythm strip (without interpretation), free stress-management test, free electronic lifestyle assessment, cholesterol check , blood glucose measurement ($2, do not eat two hours before test), complete blood lipid profile ($12, do not eat 12 hours before test) and free hearing screenings (appointment required, call 371-7448).

Free prize drawings will be held for first-aid kits, blood-pressure monitors and electronic thermometers.
