The National Beef Cook-off will be Sept. 22-24 in Colorado Springs, Colo., but entries must be submitted by Friday, March 1.
To enter, send a typed copy of an original beef recipe, using any cut of beef, to Lynda M. Larkin, Utah Beef Cook-off, 8455 South 2000 West, Willard, UT 84340. Include name, address, phone number and a brief statement about the origin of the recipe. Entry forms are also available at local grocery stores.Finalists will compete in the Utah Beef Cook-off May 18 at the Utah State Fairgrounds. The local winner will enter the national competition in Colorado.
