James J. Bottino, age 88, died February 6, 1991 in a Price hospital.

Born October 8, 1902 in Castle Gate, Utah, son of John and Catterina Pessetto Bottino. Married Ida Moffitt December 19, 1934 in Helper, Utah; she died June 13, 1990. Lifelong resident of Carbon County, member Helper Fire Dept. for 50 years. Formerly owned and operated Carbon Rubber and Repair prior to working for Helper Furniture and Mutual Furniture for many years. One of the oldest citizens of Helper, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Survived by son, Paul and wife Ann Bottino, Silver Spring, Maryland; two granddaughters, Angela Bottino, Salt Lake City; and Kristin, Silver Springs, Maryland.

Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., Helper LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Mitchell Chapel Saturday and Sunday. Family will be at Mitchells 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
