Arthur Manning Jolley, 77, died February 7, 1991.
Born June 13, 1913 in Mapleton, Utah to Joseph Manning and Marcia Armstrong Jolley. Married Bonna B. Orgill, May 30, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. A loving husband and father, grandfather, brother and friend. His love for his fellowman was known well by those who touched his life. Many years of great pleasure to him were spent in all aspects of the theatre business, including owner and operator of the Queen Theatre in Bountiful and the Murray Theatre in Murray. The children of the 60's will remember him as "Mr. Friendly." He often commented that the highlight of the business was Saturday Matinees with his little "kiddies." He served on the Board of Directors of the Oakridge Country Club. Veteran of World War II. A free spirit who loved to explore the beauty of nature, especially the warmth of the desert.Survived by his loving wife, Bonna; sister, Mrs. Joseph (Marcia) Gale, Provo; 2 daughters: JoAnn Henderson and husband,Tom, Las Vegas, NV; Jeri Webb and husband, Steve, Sandy, UT; son, Richard Manning Buys and wife Sue, Heber City, UT; 10 grandchildren: Laurie Wynn; Kari Buys; Kamille and Clark Henderson; Clayton, Sandi, and Jared Seastrand; Muriel, Alex, and Drew Webb; one great-grandchild, Erin Wynn. Preceded in death by a son-in-law,Allen Seastrand; brothers: Harmel and Rayford; sister, Jane.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., February 11,1991 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive,where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
