James Delbert Yorgason, age 82, died February 7, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

He was born January 13, 1909 in Fountain Green, Utah, to Hyrum V. and Ida Pernella Anderson Yorgason. On January 16, 1941, he married Lillis Marchant in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Delbert was an employee of Utah Power and Light Co. for 33 years. An active member of the LDS Church, he served as Ward Clerk, High Priest Group Assistant and as a temple worker in the Salt Lake and Jordan River LDS Temples.Survivors: wife, Lillis, Midvale; son, Philip and wife, Rhonda, Sandy; daughters, Marilyn Moore and husband, John, Seattle, Washington; Linda Morgan and husband, Michael, West Jordan; grandchildren, Jim, Kim, Julie, Jennifer, and Jane Yorgason; Kara Lynn and Trina Price, Jeanine DeBruin and Nathan Morgan, Elder Chris DeBruin, LDS Missionary, Belgium Brussels Mission; sister and brothers, Victoria Rasmussen, Gayle and Forrest, all Provo; Valgene, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 1991, 1:00 P.M. in the Midvale East 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 87 East 7100 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 P.M. and Monday at the church from 11:45 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
