Kurt L. Vollert, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away February 6, 1991 at home.
Born August 8, 1913 in Chemnitz, Germany to Linus A. and Martha A. Koehler Vollert. He came to the U.S. in 1955. He married Edith Donner in August 1940. The marriage was solemnized in 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He held many positions in the LDS Church. Worked for 11 years for the Eimco Corp; 16 years for the Utah C.V. Federal Credit Union as Assistant Manager and Secretary for the Board of Directors. Was the first president of the German Chorus HARMANIE and secretary for the German American Society. He was actively involved in the extraction program and temple work. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Survived by wife, Edith; daughter, Brandy, California; granddaughter, Lisa; great granddaughter, Skye, both of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., February 9, 1991 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
