More than 50 singers, actors and sports figures lend their voices for the recording of "Voices That Care," an anthem to boost the morale of American troops fighting in the Persian Gulf. Cassettes of the tune, recorded at the Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, Calif., will be distributed by the USO to the troops later this month. The song and its video will then air in the United States. Solos by Luther Vandross, Al Jarreau, the Pointer Sisters, Peter Cetera and Michael Bolton will be recorded in the next few days. Profits from the song and video will go to the USO and the American Red Cross gulf crisis funds.
