The Farmers Home Administration is increasing its efforts to inform potential farm loan applicants of the availability of targeted funds and government inventory farmland.

Lee Hawkes, the agency's state director, said the funds and land will enable farmers to become owners and operators.Hawkes said the agency is particularly interested in helping people who have been subjected to racial, ethnic or cultural bias.

Information regarding the program can be obtained from the Farmers Home county office, 7235 S. Third West, Midvale.
